    How is it that a woman with a voice like THAT doesn’t have a cd out yet? Not knocking Jordin Sparks because she is a wunderkind but songs like “NO AIR” get on the radio while this woman is off in the great void somewhere.

    I just don’t get it.

    I feel the same way. Fantasia irreplacably captured my heart, but Melinda was vocally impeccable every week and should have won season 6, no question.

    I hate slow songs. I hate idols who constantly sing slow songs and bomb upbeat cool songs (like David Archuleta). Amazingly enough, I don’t hate Melinda Doolittle; I think she managed to make slow songs listenable to me. I mean, all i usually ever listen to is upbeat funk, thrash, punk and metal. That is some skill!
