This young man is certified star material. He won because he made every right choice. If DA had waited one or two more years he probably wins. He simply lacked the seasoning of David Cook. Fact.

i love how even though he was excited about winning, he didnt brag about it on the stage like most winners do. he was clapping for david archuletta and telling him he did a great job. i really wish that david archuletta won though…david cook is good but i thought that archuletta was better! great video though! and great song at the end!

omg i still feel the same way watching this now as i did the exact night i watched the live finale…i cried when archie didn’t win…but oh well i like cook too and they’re both gonna have great albums so who cares…remember everyone, archuleta’s album drops tuesday, november 11…and cook’s album drops tuesday, november 18 =]

Let’s get something straight here people. David Cook is the real winner of American Idol! He won fair square and HE DESERVED IT JUST AS MUCH AS ARCHULETA DID!!! I am so fed up with people saying “It was rigged”. NO! To say that ANY competition is either rigged or fixed is one of the most ignorant assumptions anyone could make! It was NOT an upset. Simon was point on about how no matter who won, both Davids have done a terrific job this season!
