    Oh,I heard the rumor from a comment from Cook’s Vlog(can’t remember which one) saying things like
    “Caldwell decided to stay friends with Cook after his decision to be publicly gay,what a nice person she is!”
    and other crap like that.Oh well,I also think that he could have done better than Caldwell,the only thing i liked from her was her version of Kiling me softly with his song…

    uhh…The song wasn’t original;ly written by Brooke…Her name was Emily Shackleton if I remember…but it was definitely not Brooke.

    David Cook has had girlfriends since he’s been in the 6th grade. He just broke up with his current girlfriend, Kimberly Caldwell. He is actually quite the ladies man. Maybe you have that rumor mixed up with the “other” David who’s never kissed a girl.

    I like his music,he’s got talent.Jim and Brooke owned the season in my opinion…and I’m tired of all the rumors about Cook!!!!!People say he’s gay,and I DON’T THINK SO!!!I’m really tired of Every American Idol person getting played a ‘gay’.But I got a question…Is he or is he not!?I’m sick of the American Idol rumors about my FAVORITES!!!

    Both Archuleta and Cook were allowed to perform one of the non-winning songs from the Idol song writing competition that night rather than the “winning” song which killed Blake Lewis last season. Since this didn’t win, he could have changed it to suit him. It was sung from a girl’s perspective was country song. The “winning” song had to be sung as written he couldn’t change it and it had to be his first single. If Archie had won, it would have been his 1st single also. TOML went Platinum.
