    This was amazing. One of, if not the top, moment on last years Idol finale. I liked The Letter duet (Carly/Johns) too but George Micheal stole the show.

    Guys you can say what you want, but George Michael is an artist. He connects with the audience. He has a very solid voice, and yes he had a cold. But the feeling that you got from listening this performance was phenomenal. While you listen you feel that he is holding his voice back during very strong emotions, and that gives even stronger effect than singing at full. Yes, he had a cold, but if you didn’t know you would never notice. Solid performance and i take my hat off. And im not a G.M. fan.

    Glasses is what you saw instead of what you heard? How sad. If you were blind and listening you would be ahead of the game! Loved him singing this on American Idol (even with a cold). He is such an incredible poet of song. Check out Leonard Cohen’s “Waiting for the Miracle” if you like this song.
