    I’m a big Evanescence fan, but Carly Smithson has a much different talent than Amy lee. They are both GREAT, but Carly’s a little less operatic and more rock and roll…what made Evanescence so cool (and famous) was the contrast between the haunting vocals and the hard rock. We are the fallen’s song doesn’t have the special thing that Bring me to Life had…or that this has.

    Amy Lee has nothing on her.
    I have never heard Amy Lee come close to hitting those same notes…ever.
    Leave Carly alone.
    Amy Lee keeps the same damn tone through every song and they all sound alike…it’s irritating.
    Carly Rocks!

    She’s not trying to be the new Amy Lee, get over it people. Evanescence still exists, and are working on new stuff right now. The Fallen will be interesting, and I’m excited to hear their music, but they’re not trying to be Evanescence, and she’s not trying to be Amy Lee.
