    I’ve never watched Idol, but I read today that the driver who killed her now faces reckless homicide charges and not just DWI.
    After seeing the video, I’m surprised that folks think she’s unfit to be a star. She’s about average in manners for a talented pop star. If you think she should rot in hell or whatever, then what about the man who killed her? What would he contribute to entertainment or culture, or even good manners?
    So let’s just call it a tragedy all around, and give it a rest.

    Well, I’m glad they caught the hit n run guy, because, for all her failings and the net benefit to world moral hygiene – it is wrong to run away after an accident…

    My comment wasn’t really a reaction to her ‘talent’, which is not to my taste but I presume it is to some.

    I actually found her attitude to be quite vile. A bad moment is one thing, a sustained and vengeful egotistical outburst, peppered with foul language, sourced from delusions of grandeur, and a poisonous regard of a fair critique is another.

    Some people work against their moral failings…
    Others nurture them.
    She was clearly of the later, and death doesn’t change that.

    Yes they caught him. He is 23yrs old and as I said supposively devestated by what he has done (according to his lawyer).
    Alot of folks on here felt as if she would have a good career in a band and that her voice was good. It is very sad , yep she sure seemed to be. I think she scared Ryan….but then again what doesn’t .

    Daniel Bark, 23, was arrested around 6 p.m. Sunday and charged with causing Cohen’s death by reckless driving and leaving the scene of a collision, The Star-Ledger reports.

    In a hearing today, Superior Court Judge Wendell E. Daniels said Bark will be also be charged with aggravated manslaughter, death by auto and eluding.

    , they caught the hit and run driver??, i didn’t see that in the news. GREAT!!! I don’t watch Idol, but I read about her death and had to check out this vid. Am I the only one in the world that thinks she can (could) sing? I thought she did a good job. Sad she was killed, she was a fiesty liitle B.

    I don’t believe “arrogant” was the word you were looking for. Perhaps “mean” or “heartless”. Hey, if someone is a dirt bag, you shouldn’t expect the word to mourn their death. Haha, was it like watching a video of yourself? Seriously, why else would you care?
